Professional Career: Z. Tsolakidis is a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2002. Admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Greece (Areios Pagos) since 2012.
In 2010, he was elected Lecturer at the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since 2026, he has served as full Professor of Civil Law.
He is member of the Committee for the Evaluation of the Quality of the Legislative Procedure under the Secretariat General for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs since 2019. He is also member of Legislative Committees (for the reform of the Law on sales and the provision of digital services, for the transfer of the Dodecanese cadastre to the national cadastre, for state property, for the Code of Alternative Dispute Resolution, etc.).
He has participated as a speaker at legal conferences in Greece and abroad.
He is member of several Scientific Associations, including the Union of Civil Law Scholars, the Family Law Association, the Hellenic Association of Banking Law and Capital Market Law and the Union of Greek Commercial Law Scholars. He is also Fellow of the Europäisches Zentrum für Schadenersatz- und Versicherungsrecht and member of the Society of European Contract Law.
He is the author of five monographs: The liability of the seller for the non-conformity of the product with the contract (2026); Compensation in pre-contractual liability (2020); The publicity of deeds and rights in the National Cadastre (2013); Liability for actions of vicarious agents (2008); and Cancellation of legal acts concerning real estate and protection of third parties under National Land Registry (2003). He is also co-author, together with G. D. Kallimopoulos and K. Karagiannis, of Banking Transactions Law I (2019). He has published more than 50 studies in legal journals, honorary volumes, and collective works.
