Professional Career: B. Kritsotaki served as a judge for decades, retiring as judge of the Supreme Court. In the course of her term, she served at the Peace Court of Mylopotamos; at the Court of First Instance of Piraeus, of Mytilene, of Samos and of Athens; at the Court of Appeal of Crete, of Athens, of Piraeus and of Thessaloniki; at the Supreme Court in the department of labor disputes. During 2010 and 2011 she served as an inspector for the 9th judicial district. Before serving as a judge, she worked in the private field and as a public servant. She is an active member of the Society for Judicial Studies and she regularly participates in seminars and conferences of legal, historic, philosophical and lingual content. She is a certified mediator by the Ministry of Justice.
