Arbitration Experience: National Sport Arbitration: Member of the Commission of Appeal on Preventing and Combating Doping in Sport (General Secretariat of the Government- 2022). Member of the Disciplinary Panel of the Romanian Tennis Federation (2022). Member of the Appeal Panel of the Romanian Handball Federation (2019-2022).
International Sport Arbitration: Arbitrator at Sport Resolutions (International Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators) 2021.
Commercial Arbitration: Arbitrator to the Permanent Court of Arbitration within AHK Romania (2021).

Education: Bachelor of laws, Specialty: Law and International Relations, University of Bucharest, Romania. Post University Course in Sport Law at Law Faculty, “West University Timisoara” (Timisoara, Romania).

Professional Career: Mr. Mihai is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2000. He regularly participates as speaker at conferences and seminars open to the public or specialists, on matters such as: commercial law, sport law, labour law and GDPR. Mr. Mihai is also involved in several projects at regional level, and he is currently the Secretary General of Proteus – an international network of law firms (www.proteuslaw.eu). Mr. Mihai is a member of several professional organisations: Member of REX Sport, an association of sport law practitioners (www.rexsport.org), member of Legal Mondo Network, during the last years he was an active member of NRCC (Netherlands-Romanian Chamber of Commerce) and he is also an Alumni of AIJA (the International Association of Young Lawyers www.aija.com), keeping still the connection with the group of practitioners.

The constant activity in the business law (over 22 years of activity), having as clients Romanian companies as well as companies that are part of international groups permitted Dan to have a deep understanding of the local legal environment as well as a corporate culture of international clients.

The long-term collaboration with companies which activate in various fields of business, offered Dan an understanding and expertise of the needs in these industries.
