Professional Career: Mr Lambrou is a Solicitor Advocate of the High Court of England and Wales and international arbitration specialist. His focus is on general commercial, insurance, energy, maritime, construction and investment treaty arbitration. He was a partner at Thomas Cooper law firm, based in the City of London, where directed the legal team for over 50 international arbitrations, both ad hoc and institutional. For example: he acted for a Central Asian country in a multimillion dollar investment dispute in an LCIA arbitration; acted for a Mexican company in several multi-million offshore oil and gas related disputes; acted for an offshore construction company in a dispute with a French manufacturer of components for two offshore platforms (ICC); acted for numerous ship owners and charterers in dozens of LMAA arbitrations; acted in numerous international trade disputes. He is responsible for the overall conduct of numerous reported cases in the English High Court and English Court of Appeal.
