Mediation Experience: As a CEDR trainer, he cooperates with the Mediators Trainer Institute of Larissa, the Hellenic Mediation and Arbitration Center and the Law Faculty of the University of Cyprus. He has participated in mediations and numerous conferences as speaker, in the “Mediation Europe-Eirene Project” and the Greek public dialogues project of the Mediators Beyond Borders.  He is in charge of the editing team for the Hellenic Mediation and Arbitration Center newsletter.

Education: Law Degree, University of Athens; Master’s Degree on Commercial law, University of Athens; Ph.D candidate, University of Athens (thesis: The mediation clause).

George is a lawyer with the Athens Bar Association since 1991, a mediator, accrebited by CiArb and certified by the Ministry of Justice and an accredited mediators trainer by CEDR. He is the General Secretary of the Hellenic Mediation and Arbitration Center, a mediator for the Hellenic- German Chamber of Commerce and the former vice-president of the Greek Mediators Association. He practices law as partner at Papapolitis & Papapolitis law firm and as legal advisor to the subsidiary of a multinational group of companies.
