John is active in all areas of Business Law, specializing in Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Tax Law, Competition Law and Arbitration. He is Head of the Arbitration practice of Dryllerakis Law Firm. He has served as an arbitrator, lawyer and legal expert in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations. Indicatively, he has been appointed as Presiding Arbitrator in ICC arbitrations on construction matters for the resolution of disputes between concession companies and the Greek State. He has advised and represented Claimants and Respondents in domestic and international arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL. His experience extends to the sectors of construction, energy, mining, competition and State aid cases, as well as corporate and shareholder disputes.

Member of the Athens Bar Association, member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Law Firms, Treasurer of the Hellenic Association of European Law, member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Association of Greek Commercialists. He was also a member of the Conciliators Panel of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Author of legal books, as well as of a multitude of articles published in legal and financial journals.
