Arbitration Experience: Counsel in numerous international arbitrations regarding a wide range of civil and commercial law issues, energy law issues, as well as international investments. Served as Secretary in several ad hoc, as well as institutional international commercial arbitrations, acquiring significant experience in this context.

Education: Ph.D in European Private International and Procedural Law. Post-Doctoral Researcher, Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law’ (Hamburg, 2016). LLM titles in Private International Law and Civil Law from the Athens Law Faculty.

Professional Career: Vassiliki Marazopoulou is an attorney-at-law before the Court of Appeals. She has authored a monography titled “Extraterritorial enforcement pursuant to European Law in civil and commercial matters” published by Nomiki Vivliothiki in 2015 (updated version of her Doctoral thesis). She has taught international commercial arbitration in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Athens Law Faculty. Coach of the students’ team of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, Law Faculty, in the Annual Vienna Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court (academic years 2015-2016 and 2014-2015). Acted as arbitrator in moot trials in Hannover Pre-Moot event, (19-21 February 2015). Her publications mainly concern private international law, European law and international commercial arbitration.
