Arbitration Experience: He has taught arbitration at the postgraduate studies department of the University of Thessaloniki and authored more than 10 consultations – opinions on arbitration, which were published in law journals. He has taken on cases for the annulment of arbitration awards before the Supreme Court.

Education: Law Degree, University of Thessaloniki; postgraduate studies in Private law, University of Thessaloniki, and, under scholarship, Freie Universität Berlin (1978-1980); Ph.D, Law Faculty of the University of Thessaloniki (1981).

Academic and Professional Career: He was an associate of Professor Kerameos (1975-1981), a lecturer at the same University, an Associate Professor at the Law Faculty (1984) and a Professor at the same Faculty from 1992 until 2015. For 35 years, he taught Civil Procedure in on undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Thessaloniki and for at least 10 years at the National School for Judges. He served as member of Higher Courts for more than 10 years. He was the Head of the Thessaloniki Legal Department of ALPHA BANK from 2001 until 2016. He was a contributor in law journals from 1993 until 2017. He is the co-publisher of the law journal “Civil Procedure Review” since 2008. He is a member of the Wissenschaftlichen Vereinigung für Internationales Verfahrensrecht and the Association of Greek Procedural Law Practitioners. He has authored many books and articles.
