Arbitration experience: Ahmed Habib has handled arbitration cases conducted under the auspices of several arbitration centres (notably the ICC, ICSID, CRCICA, DIAC, LCIA and PCA) as well as ad hoc arbitration cases conducted notably in accordance with the UNCITRAL Rules. In his capacity as Counsel, he has represented Middle Eastern, European and African companies, States and State-owned companies in the course of arbitration proceedings subject to a variety of applicable laws (civil and common law legal systems), covering several jurisdictions and a wide range of disputes. He has conducted negotiations and acted as Counsel in post arbitration proceedings (setting aside and enforcement of arbitral awards). He also advises parties in drafting arbitration agreements.
